Import survey data using Terramodel TLF format

1. Export from the Leica 1200 database to the datacard by selecting the Terramodel TLF format from a list on the instrument.
2. Import into Terramodel from the data card using the "Geocomp Leica TLF _i" script.
3. Use AutoDraft to string the points.

Import survey data using Geocomp FLD format

1. Export from the Leica 1200 database by selecting the Geocomp FLD format from a list on the instrument.
2. Import into Terramodel from the card using the "Geocomp FLD 17-20_i" script.
3. Use AutoDraft to string the points.

The format files for both formats are maintained by Jason Spall of C R Kennedy, Brisbane. The scripts are maintained by Geocomp Systems.

FLD format can be read by other sofware including Geocomp 10.2. The TLF format allows for more details to be transferred.

Export from Terramodel to Leica 1200

Leica RoadRunner, DigSmart3D, Universal Machine Control or similar software must be installed on the Leica 1200 instrument.

You can export a digital terrain model, roadway templates from alignment strings, points or sets to XML files using TMLs available from Geocomp Systems.

If you also install the Leica RoadRunnerAddOn in Terramodel you can convert the DTM or roadway to Leica database files as well.

RoadRunnerAddOn is available from your Leica dealer and Geocomp Systems.
